  • Give a little Hope This Christmas Many children arrive at their new placements with NOTHING but the clothes on their backs, or with what few items they have hastily shoved into a rubbish bag. Let’s change this, because no child should be made to feel like their belongings are “rubbish”. Additionally, their new caregivers should be able to focus on the emotional needs when a child arrives rather than having to run around doing last minute/late night shopping. That’s where we come in. The backpacks and duffle bags Foster Hope assembles for children entering into care. These backpacks include a carry all bag, toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo, soap, flannel) and some other special personal items that they can call their own, (books, soft toys, etc).
